7. Decorative type of chroming constitutes the last process (different to the process of technical chroming, which is connected to the application of a thick galvanic coating of up to the thickness of 200 microns).
DECORATIVE TYPE OF CHROMING IS CONSTITUTED BY THE COATING OF THE THICKNESS RANGING FROM 0.5 TO 1 MICRONE. THICKER CHROME COATINGS ARE MILK-WHITE AND NOT VERY AESTHETIC. APPEARING OF SUCH COATING UPON A NICKEL COATED ELEMENT MEANS THAT THE GALVANIZER IS UNABLE TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT VOLTAGE SUITING THE SIZE OF THE GIVEN ELEMENT.
